The Macedonia Parks & Recreation Department hosts events throughout the year for children, adults and families.

Sweetheart Brunch - Saturday, February 10th | 10am-12pm
Celebrate your love and enjoy pancakes, cookie decorating, make your own card, & more! FREE to participate! 6 months to 12 years; Registration required*
Mac Rec Book Swap - Saturday, February 24th | 10am-12pm
Freshen up your bookshelf by swapping out books you no longer read! Books can also be donated at the Mac Rec and Macedonia Senior Center starting February 10th.
Egg Hunt - Friday, March 22nd
Longwood Park gets filled with eggs stuffed with treats and prizes! FREE to participate! Ages: 6 months to 12 years; Registration required*
SpringFest- Saturday, April 20th | 10am-4pm
SpringFest is the perfect event to kick off the year! Stop by Longwood Park to celebrate Earth Day, Arbor Day, and the beginning of Spring with craft vendors, food vendors, craft classes, a plant swap, kid's activities, and community cleanup!

Family Fishing Day - Saturday, May 18th
Hook, line, and sinker, this event is a favorite! Come cast your reel and try your luck at catching some fish at Longwood Park! Ages: 5-17; Registration required*
SummerFest - Friday, June 7th & Saturday, June 8th
Amusement rides, food trucks, beer garden, live entertainment, 5k, & fireworks!
Car Cruise - Thursday, July 25th
Experience a showcase of one of a kind vehicles from the classics to the new, accompanied by delicious food! To participate, just arrive a few minutes early! No registration required
Touch-A-Truck - Thursday, August 8th
Kids will have the opportunity to go inside trucks and learn about each one! Macedonia Police, Fire and Service will be bringing their vehicles! All ages welcome; Free to participate!
FallFest - Saturday, September 21st | 4:30pm-9:30pm
Craft Beer, wine, & Food Truck, and live music in Longwood Park!
Haunted Manor- Saturday, October 19th |4-6pm
Trick or treat throughout Longwood Park & Longwood Manor for a sweet and spooky Halloween event is for kids of all ages! All ages welcome; FREE to participate!

WinterFest - Saturday, December 7th
Longwood Park with dozens of light displays, holiday treats, Santa, music, activities & more!
