Camp Macedonia is packed with a variety of activities and non-stop excitement to keep kids ages 6 through 13 active and engaged. Children can develop new skills, interests, and hobbies while building life long memories as they participate in many activities and games and more!

Monday-Friday, June 6 – August 5 (no camp July 4th)-Longwood Park

Fall Soccer Registration

Now – August 1, 2016

League play for boys and girls born 2002-2012.  U5, U6, U8 leagues play in-house while U9, U11, U13, & U15 divisions will travel to area communities for several games.  League play starts August and ends in October.  U5 teams practices on Wed or Thursday.  U6 –U14 teams practices are determined by the coach.  Most games will be played on Saturdays.  Shin guards and sock covering them are required, soccer cleats recommended.

Volunteer coaches needed.  Registration deadline is August 1, or until full.  Late registrations will be subject to $15 late fee.

Flag Football Registration

Now – August 1

League play for kids age 5 – 10 yrs. to learn football skills and play games. Kids will be divided into divisions based on the child’s grade level for the 2015/16 school year.  Practices are determined by the coach. Most games on Saturday mornings.  Volunteer coaches are needed. Season to starts in August and ends in October. Registration deadline is August 1.  Must be age 5 by 7/31/16 to register. Registration in person at the Macedonia Rec. Center.  No drop ins. No coupon.

Football Camp

August 1-5


Campers in grades 1-6 learn the basic fundamentals of football in an atmosphere that emphasizes

sportsmanship, teamwork and the joy of sports. Great for both novice and experienced football players. In addition to learning fundamentals, techniques and strategies of the sport, campers will participate in flag football games every day as well as fun games and contests such as “Punt, Pass, and Kick” and “NFL Fast Football”.  Deadline to register is July 25.  No coupons.  Provided by Jump Start Sports staff.

Cheerleading Camp

August 1-5


Campers in grades 1-6 will learn a variety of cheers, jumps, kicks and movements. We’ll also play fun cheerleading games, create cheerleading themed crafts, and decorate uniforms to wear at the exhibition on the last day of camp. Cheerleading camp provides children with a highly active endeavor in a non-competitive environment that fosters fun & the development of friendships.   Deadline to register is July 25.  Provided by Jump Start Sports staff.

Tot T-ball

Season 2:  Thursday, July 21 – August 18, 6:00pm

An instructional league for boys and girls 4-6 years old. Children will be placed onto teams and will have two meetings of practice and 3 sessions of games. Volunteer coaches are needed!!! Registration deadline is 2 weeks prior to the start of season or until full.  Additional rainout dates may be needed.  No drop ins. No Coupons.

Little Sluggers 

Thursdays, July 21 –August 11


Boys and girls age 3 can learn the basics of tee ball while playing alongside their parents and coaches. Join us as we teach the basic skills of running the bases, throwing, catching and hitting off a batting tee.  Drills may require parent participation.  Each child receives a t-shirt and medal.  Rain out date is August 18.  Deadline to register is July 14.

Challenger Sports British Soccer Camp

M-F, August 8 – 12

Longwood Park

Are you ready to join one of the biggest and best summer soccer camps out there? Challenger Sports is returning this summer for another week of British soccer fun! With programs for ages 3-14, there’s something for everyone. Each day includes individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games, coached scrimmages, and a daily World Cup tournament. Camp Staff study the game at all levels and we have identified the key techniques and skills that your players need to work on and master to reach their true potential. All campers receive a camp t-shirt, soccer ball, player evaluation form, action poster, & online coaching recourses.  Register by June 24 to receive a Free Jersey.


First Kicks – A friendly, low key introduction to the basics of the game through games, stories and fun. 3-4 yrs.

Mini Soccer – Fun games, competitions and challenging skill-building activities. 4-6 yrs.

Half-Day Player Development Camp – Gain technical and tactical instruction in all areas of the game. Emphasis is placed upon individual skill development and fundamental tactical awareness.  6-16 yrs.

Full-Day Advanced Camp – Advanced camp for serious players, Full-Day camps focus on game-related techniques, tactical development and coached match play. 8-18yrs.

Babysitter’s Training Course —   Saturday, July 11th  9:30-3:30pm

This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for infants and children up to the age of 10, as well as to manage a babysitting business. Plus it offers hands-on skills practice and additional training in first aid.
